Zambia Beat Senegal To Top Group A
Zambia Beat Senegal by three goals to two win their tonight’s tie at the West African Cup of Nations (WAFCON) Championship in Morocco.
The win gave Zambia four points from two games, followed by Senegal with three points from the same number of games.
Senegal ‘s Teranga Lionesses netted first, to which the Copper Queens of Zambia responded promptly and swiftly, just minutes after the Senegalese drew the first blood.
In the 46th minute, Zambia netted their second , and the first half ended without any more goals.
In the second stanza, both sides netted a goal each ( Senegal via a penalty), hence the tie ended on a score line of three goals to two.
