THE SMEAR CAMPAIGN AGAINST DOOR-2-DOOR IS DEAD ON ARRIVAL……………………TINUBU SUPPORT GROUP
President Bola Ahmed TInubu support group known as Door-2-Door, the grassroots political movement founded by High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo (popularly known as Tompolo), today came down heavily on opponents of its noble efforts to mobilise Nigerians for theRe-election of President in 2027.
Acting National Coordinator of Door-2-Door, Comrade Sunday Adekanbi Asuku, has therefore called on Nigerians to ignore the antics of peddlers of falsehood and enemies of democracy who have no vision beyond mischief.
Asuku fumed “these purveyors of absurdity have launched a smear campaign, falsely linking the movement to frivolous activities—such as frying and distributing plantain chips—as part of its outreach strategy.
” Let it be clearly stated: Door-2-Door is not and will never be associated with such nonsense”.
This movement he asserted is not a playground for petty antics or shallow drama.
” Door-2-Door is built on a robust vision of nation-building, grounded in grassroots engagement and focused on amplifying the transformative achievements of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Our goal is to communicate a compelling, truthful narrative of progress and development, directly to the people, ward by ward, door by door”.
According to him “Our mission and vision were clearly articulated during the 24th Democracy Day celebrations held on June 13th in Abuja.
” There, we publicly reaffirmed our commitment to a focused, issue-driven campaign—one that educate Nigerians on the remarkable policies and reforms of President Tinubu, which have already begun reshaping the socio-economic landscape of Nigeria”.
For the Door 2 Door, Asuku maintained that ” it is, therefore, appalling that some mischief-makers would seek to distort and ridicule this noble cause with misleading and demeaning narratives.
” To portray Door-2-Door as a plantain chips giveaway platform is a deliberate insult, a tactic of sabotage, and an act of desperation by elements threatened by the growing influence of the movement.
“We strongly condemn the role of SaharaReporters in amplifying these baseless claims. Their unprofessional conduct, penchant for sensationalism, and consistent bias have only served to erode public trust. Their involvement in this coordinated misinformation campaign is not journalism—it is propaganda”
He stressed “Let it be known Door-2-Door has never authorised, endorsed, or supported any such trivial initiatives. The fabrication linking us to plantain chips or any other diversionary antics is the handiwork of those who fear progress and seek to derail a movement that stands for truth, development, and national unity.
“Our campaign is firmly rooted in critical national issues:Security,Economic revitalisation,Education reform, infrastructure development and Social welfare
Asuku added that Under the leadership of High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, Door-2-Door embodies resilience, credibility, and grassroots integrity.
“His unwavering commitment to Nigeria’s democratic future and his unmatched stature in the Niger Delta and beyond continues to inspire confidence in this movement”.
He assured that grassroots mobilisation remains the lifeblood of every successful democratic endeavour.
The Door-2-Door model is not just symbolic; it is strategically effective—connecting government policy to citizen realities, ensuring that the voice of the people is heard and that the President’s vision is fully understood and embraced by Nigerians at every level.
He promised that In the coming weeks, Door-2-Door will unveil a series of humanitarian and landmark projects aimed at celebrating the achievements of Tinubu while providing meaningful support to Nigerians across various communities.
He further dismissed critics saying ” These projects are not gimmicks—they are a reflection of our dedication to service, transformation, and impact.
” Door-2-Door remains a serious, visionary, and principled movement. We refuse to be distracted by merchants of mockery. We stand committed to building a stronger, united, and prosperous Nigeria—one door at a time.
