What seems like a gathering storm against Bola Ahmed Tinubu led administration may have begun in earnest as his political Adviser Dr, Hakeem Baba-Ahmed has thrown in the towel.
No reason has been officially adduced for the resignation by the former Spokesperson of Northern Elders Forum (NEF) on the appointment offered him in 2024.
Baba-Ahmed worked in the office of the Vice President Kashim Shettima before his resignation. Speculation has been rife of a rift between the office of the President and the Vice president.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has through its Director of Publicity Alhaji Bala Ibrahim refuted the speculation making the rounds that the vice president Kashim Shettima may be dropped ahead of the 2027 polls.
Bala Ibrahim clarified that the president and the vice president “are working in harmony for the good of the country. There is no rift between them to warrant dropping the latter.”
