PSG LiFt Super Cup 2025 After Dramatic Victory Over Tottenham Hotspurs

On a night enamoured of drama , Paris Saint Germain (PSG) of France tonight beat Tottenham Hotspurs of Britain on penalties to win the European Super Cup for 2025.
PSG netted four of their five kicks, while the Europa Champions, Hotspurs, missed two of their five kicks.
The encounter was filled with twists and turns.
First, Hotspurs went ahead in the 38th minute of play and made it two goals to nil in the 47 th minute .
They then held on to the two -goal lead until the 86 th minute when PSG got their first goal of the night.
Then the drama continued in the 4th minute of added time when the French side scored the equalizer to take the game to direct penalty shootout.
During the spot kicks, PSG lost their first take via Vitinha, but rallied to score all other subsequent kicks.
Hotspurs , on the other hand, list their third and fourth kicks , thus losing grip of the game and the title they nearly won.
PSG , which underwhelmed during play, are the European Champions League champions, while Hotspurs are the Europa 2025 champions.
Tonight’s encounter is the second time that PSG would square up against a British team in a major soccer contest, following the recent encounter with Chelsea in the FIFA Club World Cup championship held in America.
Chelsea walloped PSG in that encounter to win the global trophy, against the prediction of book makers.
