President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has conferred the national honour of Commander of the Federal Republic (CFR) on Mr Bill Gates, Co-Chair of the Gates Foundation, in recognition of his exceptional contributions to global health, education, and development—particularly in Nigeria and across Africa.
President Tinubu also met with Dr Ayuba Burki Gufwan, the Executive Secretary of the National Commission for Persons with Disabilities (NC PWD), in a symbolic moment that underscored Nigeria’s progress in eradicating polio and its continued commitment to building a healthier, more inclusive future for all.
