The Presiding Bishop of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, popularly known as Winners Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo, has firmly ruled out any involvement in partisan politics, describing it as completely outside his divine calling.
Oyedepo made the declaration during the Day Five impartation service of the church’s annual convocation, Shiloh 2025, held at the Faith Tabernacle, Canaan Land, Ota, Ogun State.
Emphasising his position, the cleric said no amount of financial inducement — including a hypothetical offer of one billion dollars — could persuade him to venture into politics.
According to him, his assignment remains rooted in spiritual leadership, noting that he has consistently warned members of the church about looming challenges confronting the nation.
“In 2015, I warned the church that trouble was coming. Didn’t trouble come?” Oyedepo asked rhetorically during the service.
The renowned cleric reiterated his unwavering commitment to his spiritual mandate, stressing that his focus remains on guiding the church and fulfilling what he described as God’s purpose for his life.
