Delta State Commissioner for Works (Rural Roads) and Public Information, Mr. Charles Aniagwu, says Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s administration will not be distracted by political attacks or false narratives ahead of the 2027 elections.
Speaking in Asaba on Monday alongside the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, Aniagwu said the government remains focused on its four-point agenda of peace, security, development, and reforms.
He described ongoing campaigns of calumny as attempts to de-market the administration, insisting that projects across all senatorial districts prove Oborevwori’s commitment to equity and progress.
Aniagwu listed achievements such as keeping schools open during nationwide strikes, massive road construction in riverine and upland areas, and job creation through social investment programmes.
He stressed that peace and security remain central to the governor’s vision, warning that troublemakers would face sanctions.
“Oborevwori’s style of governance treats every Deltan equally,” Aniagwu said. “His commitment to fairness, peace, and development is firm and unshaken.”
