Former Anambra State Governor, Chief Willie Obiano, is alive and in good health, despite widespread social media rumours alleging that he had died.
His former Commissioner for Information, C. Don Adinuba, refuted the claims on Friday, describing them as false, misleading, and mischievous.
Adinuba explained that he had spoken directly with Obiano and confirmed that the former governor is not only “hale and hearty” but also resides in the United States—not the United Kingdom, as claimed by an online platform.
“Obiano has never lived in the United Kingdom. He lives in the United States of America. I just spoke with him now,” Adinuba stated.
He urged the public to disregard the rumours, warning that such baseless stories could cause unnecessary anxiety for Obiano’s family, associates, and the people of Anambra State.
