America

UN Scribe Raises Alarm

The Secretary -General of the United Nations UN, Antonio Gutierres, has raised the alarm at the American bombing of the nuclear facilities of Iran.
He said it was a dangerous escalation and a grave threat to global peace.

The UN Scribe was reacting to Saturday night’s American strikes on Iran ‘s nuclear sites in Fordow, Isfahan and Natanz.
After the strikes, American President Donald Trump, said Iran’ s nuclear facilities and programme had been completely obliterated.
A report of the assessment of the effects of the strikes is expected to be made public later today by American government officials.

America

US Security Experts Meet Trump After Strikes

After its Saturday night ‘s strikes on the core elements of the nuclear facilities of Iran, military and security experts have begun a meeting with President Trump in the Situation Room in the Oval Office, the White House.

The meeting comes after the wave of strikes which Trump described as a spectacular military success.

Today’ s meeting , a post- mortem, is expected to examine the direct effects, by way of damage, of the strikes on the targeted facilities and the entire programme, as well as the consequences for America and its allies of the strikes.

Iran and its core allies in Yemen, the Houthis, had warned that they could attack American interests in the Gulf Region if America joined Israel in attacking the facilities.

There is anxiety in the region in which America has military bases, including those in Bahrain and Iraq.
About 40,000 American servicemen are in the Gulf.

Britain

British PM Urges Iran to Return To Talks

The Prime Minister of Britain, Sir Keir Starmer, today reacted to the Saturday night ‘s America’s military strike on Iran ‘s nuclear facilities.
Three major facilities – Isfahan, Natanz and Fordow- were hit in the strikes in which the 30,000 pound bunker bursting bombs were used.
The heavy duty bombs, the heaviest non- nuclear bomb in military history, were dropped by the giant big bombers, the B-52, also called the Big Ugly Flying Fighter.

Reacting to the development, Starmer urged Iran to return to talks on its nuclear programme.

He echoed the American and Israeli position that Iran must never have a nuclear weapon.
Starmer said that the attack by America had alleviated the nuclear programme of Iran.
Both America and Britain are nuclear weapon states, as is Israel, which has 400 units of the dreaded weapon of mass destruction.

Switzerland

IAEA Douses Fear of Radiation Leak

The global Nuclear watchdog, the International Atomic Energy Agency, IAEA, had doused fears of radiation leak after America ‘s Saturday night strikes on the nuclear facilities in Iran.
The agency said that ,based on its preliminary assessment, there had been no increase in radiation levels at the sites struck at Isfahan, Natanz and Fordow-.
It said that the assessments would continue.

Iran

Israel Continues Attack On Iran

Israel continued its military attacks on Iran overnight, strong on the heels of America’s involvement.
The Israeli strikes targeted military and allied facilities in Teheran and other cities.
Details of the specific targets hit were sketchy at press time, but Israel had struck multiple targets in nearly 10 days in which it had deployed its stealth bombers.

More than 1,000 casualties had been recorded in the attacks.

Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia Condemns American Attacks, Urge De-escalation

Saudi Arabia today condemned America’s military strikes on Iran’ s nuclear facilities on Saturday night.

Riyadh said it was a violation of the sovereignty of Iran and a breach of international law.

It called for de- escalation of the crisis which began after Israel , ahead of scheduled talks between officials of America and Iran, launched a surprise military campaign on Iran.
Saudi Arabiaa also confirmed that there had been no increase in radiation levels at the sites struck by America.

Saudi Arabia, which borders Iran, has close economic and security relations with America.
In its strikes, America deployed cruise missiles and the 3,000 pound bunker bursting bombs.

A total of 12 such bombs were dropped on the underground Fordow nuclear facility alone.

Iran

Iran’ s Supreme Leader Expected To Address Nation

After last night ‘s strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities, the world is waiting for the leader of the country to address his compatriots and the global community.

Iran’ s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, had hardly been seen in public and his movements and engagements have become even more secretive since Israel and America threatened to kill him.

America President, Donald Trump, had,in a recent social.media post, said that he could order the killing of Khamenei, though the time was not rife.
But Khamenei had been addressing Iranians in recorded messages.

The message of the Supreme Leader is expected to define the official reaction to the American military attacks on his country.

Meanwhile, leaks in Washington have indicated that Trump had informed Iran ‘s leaders of the strikes, shortly before they were launched, and that the information may have also been laced with a coded message to the leaders of the country.
Experts say the coded message could be an assurance that America would not push for a regime change in Iran, a core publicly stated goal of the prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu.

Aside from Iranian leaders, Trump also reportedly told British Prime Minister,Sir Keir Starmer and Republican lawmakers before the strikes.
Trump reportedly withheld information on the strike from Democrats in Congress.

Israel

Israel Takes Pounding

Iran continued its military strikes on Israel overnight and this morning.
Teheran launched two waves of attack, the last coming as day broke.

Israeli officials say about 30 missiles were launched in the first wave.
The attacks targeted Beersheba, Haifa, and Tel Aviv, where significant damage was evident.
One of the missiles struck central Tel-Aviv where extensive damage was inflicted.
As usual,Israeli officials kept casualty figures secret, but unofficial sources admitted to recording about 80 casualties.

Iran’ s response came after America struck its nuclear facilities in Fordow, Ishfahan and Natanz.
American officials are expected to give an assessment of its strikes.

Turkiye

Iran’ s FM Carpets America

The Foreign Minister of Iran, Abbas Araghchi, has said America had abused Iran’s free embrace dialogue regarding its nuclear talks.
He described American President, Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as bullies, and called for an urgent session of both the Security Council of the United Nations, UN, and the International Atomic Energy Agency, IAEA, to address what he called America’s illegal war on his country .
Addressing the press in Turkiye, he said America should be condemned for its violation and breach of the sovereignty of Iran.
According, Iran would take all necessary measures to secure itself from the aggression of both Israel and America.
