Kogi Governor Loses Father, Alhaji Ahmed Momoh Sani Ododo
The father of Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, has passed on at the age of 83.
In a statement issued on Monday in Lokoja, the Commissioner for Information and Communications, Kingsley Fanwo, announced that the late Alhaji Ahmed Momoh Sani Ododo died on Monday evening, August 18, 2025.
According to the statement, his Janazah (funeral prayer) and burial took place the same day in his hometown, in line with Islamic rites.
The Government and people of Kogi State condole with Governor Ododo and his family over the irreparable loss, while praying Almighty Allah to grant the departed eternal rest and Aljannah Firdaus.
