The Kano State Police Command has facilitated a lecture on *Attitudinal Change* for its officers.
The high capacity training held on Monday, *September 8, 2025*, and was delivered by *Dr. Joseph Danley*, an attitude L change advocate and National President of the *Foundation for Correction of Moral Decadence (FCMD)*.
The lecture aligns with the directives of *Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, PhD, NPM*, emphasizing the importance of attitudinal change in improving police-community relations and fostering professionalism in the NPF.
Dr. Danley highlighted the significance of positive attitudes, professionalism and courtesy in officers’ interactions with the public, stressing humanity, love and unity as essential values for effective policing.
The event featured the launch of *”Attitudinal Change Handbook for Nigeria Police Force”*, a resource material designed to guide officers in achieving excellence and integrity in their service.
At the event, the Commissioner of Police *CP Ibrahim Adamu Bakori, PhD*, commended the IGP for this capacity development initiative, urging officers to study the handbook and apply its principles, admonishing the officers to : “Fear God in your service ,… . Serve with integrity, professionalism, and compassion.”
