The Supreme Court has overturned the Court of Appeal’s decision recognizing Julius Abure as the National Chairman of the Labour Party (LP).
In a unanimous ruling, the apex court’s five-member panel declared that the Court of Appeal lacked jurisdiction to pronounce Abure as National Chairman, as the case’s substance pertained to the party’s leadership – an internal affair over which courts have no authority.
