The National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has disqualified one of the governorship aspirants, Kayode Ojo, from participating in the party’s primary election scheduled for October 27 in Ekiti State.
This development comes ahead of the Ekiti governorship election fixed by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for July 20, 2026.
Addressing journalists in Abuja on Thursday, party officials announced that Governor Abiodun Oyebanji and Omolayo Oluremi had been cleared to contest in the forthcoming primary.
