Israel, Hamas Reach Peace Deal

Israel and Hamas have reached a peace deal on their two – year war.
The formal agreement is to be signed later today in Sharm-el- Sheikh in Egypt.
Following the deal, all hostages in Hamas custody- thought to be 50, including 20 alive- are to be released, while 250 Palestinian prisoners on life jail and the death row in Israeli prisons as well as 1,700 Palestinian detainees are to be released.
By the terms of the deal, 400 trucks would deliver aid to the embattled enclave daily , while Israeli troops would withdraw within an agreed range in Gaza.
Major world leaders, including those of Egypt, Qatar, Turkiye, Britain, France, America , as well as the United Nations (UN) have welcomed the development.
Following the deal, Trump is expected to travel to the Middle East at the weekend in an apparent effort to consolidate on the gains so far made.
