The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) released a detailed map of Iranian targets hit during its recent military campaign, “Operation Rising Lion”.
The graphic, labeled “These are the Iranian Regime targets that we struck during Operation ‘Rising Lion,’” outlines seven major strike locations across Iran, hitting a range of military, nuclear, and technical sites.
According to the IDF, the targets include:
- Tehran: Strikes on command centers, IRGC headquarters, missile launchers, and nuclear program offices.
- QOM: Assets linked to the Quds Force and missile infrastructure.
- Natanz & Isfahan: Nuclear sites including uranium enrichment and centrifuge production facilities.
- Arak: An inactive nuclear reactor.
- Tabriz & Kermanshah: Missile storage and launch infrastructure.
- Mashhad: Iranian aerial refueling aircraft.
Israeli officials are yet to provide casualty figures or further operational details, but emphasized the strikes were designed to degrade Iran’s nuclear capabilities and military infrastructure tied to regional threats.
US President, Donald Trump has championed international efforts to uphold ceasefire (that seem fragile) between Israel and Iran.
With tensions running high especially due to Iraeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu’s threat to strike again if Iran dares to rebuild their nuclear facilities, the success of President Trump’s diplomatic push to maintain a ceasefire will likely hinge on how Iran chooses to respond.
IDF has also announced that Hamas killed seven of its personnel in an ambush today.
As the dust settles from Operation “Rising Lion,” also referred to as “THE 12 DAY”, the middle east stands at a crossroads, between renewed confrontation and the possibility of a lasting peace.
