A renowned public affairs analyst and trado-medical practitioner, Chief Dr. Yomi Oduselu Hassan, has publicly challenged religious leaders who claim to possess supernatural healing powers to meet him at Agbor Central Hospital Mortuary for practical demonstration.
Speaking at his Agbor-Obi residence in Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State at the weekend, the traditional healer and the Ekwueme I of Akumazi Kingdom called on any man of God who believes he can raise the dead to meet him at the Agbor Central Hospital Mortuary for a practical demonstration.
Chief Hassan, known for his frankness, expressed deep concern over what he described as the growing wave of deception in the name of miracles.
He noted that many Nigerians had been misled, exploited, or emotionally manipulated by individuals who parade themselves as miracle workers without any genuine proof of divine power.
According to him,” life is a precious gift, and every birthday celebration reminds humanity not only of growth but also of the inevitable approach of death”
. He warned that while people often rejoice lavishly during birthdays, they must also reflect on the reality that human existence is temporary.
He said: “Each year, we celebrate birthdays happily with food, drinks, and plenty of rejoicing, but we forget that every celebration brings us closer to death, which is inevitable. Many men of God today claim they can raise the dead as miracles. If you truly have such powers, I challenge you — go to the Agbor mortuary and wake up all the corpses lying on the floor. I will applaud you. Otherwise, your powers are fake.”
Chief Hassan emphasized that while he acknowledges the supremacy and genuineness of Jesus Christ, he was deeply troubled by the number of so-called miracle workers who mislead the public with performances that lack authenticity.
He continued: “Let our eyes open. Jesus Christ never faked any miracle. He is the living Messiah. But most so-called men of God today are fake. May God forgive their falseness, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
