In a fresh incident, gunmen suspected of being cattle rustlers have killed more than ten (10) persons, including members of a local vigilance group.
The incident happened in Mansur, Gwana District of Alkaleri Local Government Area of Bauchi State.
The armed men also rustled cattle and sheep from Mansur and other communities around the area.
It was gathered that the vigilantes were killed in an ambush while on patrol.
The police in the state confirmed the incident adding that investigations had started.
