Wonder boy, Jao Pedro, netted the two goals to secure victory against the hard fighting Brazilian side, Fluminense.
Jao netted in the 18 th minute of the encounter to hand the lead to his team.
After the goal, both sides strove in vain to dictate pace, but there were no more goals till the end of the first stanza of play.
In the second half, the ding ding continued until the 57th minute when Jao Pedro struck again to consolidate the lead for his side.
With two goals in the kitty, Chelsea locked up its vital area and occasionally strolled up front for a third goal.
