FiFA CLUB WORLD CUP:
African entrant, Wydad Casablanca, Go Down, Out

Barring any miraculous turnaround in their prospects, one of Africa’s entrants in this year’s edition of the FIFA Club World Cup championship holding in America, Wydad Casablanca of Morocco, are set to exit the contest.
This followed their 1-4 loss to Italian power house, Juventus.
It was the second successive defeat of the club in as many games.
Today’s loss leaves them with no points from the two games, hence they look set to exit the championship at the preliminary stage.
In today’s game, Juventus seized initiative from kick -off and it was no surprise that they netted in the 6th minute, and the second in the second in the 15th.
Both goals were underpinned by the creative efforts of Yildiz, though the first sentence into the books as an open goal against Wydad.
The Moroccans pulled one back through Obeng, thus ending the first half in a 1-2: deficit scoreline .
On resumption, both teams looked set to effect control, though it was the more experienced Juventus who soon attained that dream.
With Cambioso dictating the tempo and tenor of events, it was not unexpected when Juventus netted their third in the swan minutes of regular play.
After a string of wasted chances, Wydad had their woes compounded by a last minute penalty which was converted for the fifth goal of the tie and the fourth for Juventus who showed greater purpose and focus.
