David Lammy Appointed UK Deputy PM, As Angela Rayner Resigns

The Labour Party of the United Kingdom (UK) has appointed David Lammy as the new Deputy Prime Minister and Justice Secretary.
He succeeds Angela Rayner who resigned today as Deputy Prime Minister and Deputy Leader of the Labour Party.
Rayner had resigned in a letter to Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer, after admitting to falling short of the code of conduct as Minister for paying less tax than she should have in respect on an acquired property .
Shabana Mahmood was appointed Home Secretary, while Yvette Cooper was named Foreign Secretary.
Steve Reed was appointed Housing Secretary, while
Peter Kyle became Business Secretary .
