CAVEAT EMPTOR:
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH
By adakole Elijah
It has been brought to our attention that a certain indigenous potentate has clandestinely enlisted a coterie of youths from a particular quadrant of the Benue South Senatorial District to unleash a torrent of vitriolic invective upon our revered icon, Senator David Mark, for his stalwart leadership of a coalition arrayed against the hegemonic dominance of the All Progressives Congress in the polity.
Let it be stated with utmost certitude and without ambiguity that any assault on Mark’s character will precipitate unmitigated calamity and repercussions of an unforgiving nature, for we are more than adequately prepared to expose the egregious malfeasance of the potentate with unrelenting fervour.
We are poised to unveil the putrid essence of his being, replete with libidinous proclivities, pecuniary aggrandisement, and other forms of turpitude.
Our dossier on his nefarious activities is replete with sufficient evidence to politically eviscerate him, rendering him inconsequential and bereft of relevance.
Our databank is awash with incriminating information sufficient to bring about his downfall.
We shall forthwith apprise him that he does not possess a monopoly on viciousness, anchored on his Machiavellian machinations and perfidy.
We shall not stand idly by as he employs plebeian political stratagems and chicanery to besmirch the reputations of our leaders.
When, pray tell, has it become a crimen laesae majestatis for an individual to exercise his constitutionally guaranteed rights of freedom of thought, movement, and association, that the former Senate President should be subjected to public opprobrium and calumny merely because he has decamped from the People’s Democratic Party to the African Democratic Congress?
