France To Recognize Palestine In Sept, As Israeli,America Abandon Gaza Ceasefire Talks

French President , Emmanuel Macron, today disclosed that his country would recognize a Palestinian State in September.
A meeting of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) will hold in September and the French recognition is expected to come up at the session if the global body.
Macron made the disclosure in Paris today ahead of tomorrow’s meeting between him, the British leader, Keith Starmer, and the German Chancellor, Mertz.
France , by Macron ‘s public disclosure, becomes the first major Western country and ally of Israel to break ranks with it on the Palestinian question.
More than 190 member states of UNGA have recognized Palestine.
Meanwhile, both Israel and America have recalled their diplomats from the ceasefire talks with Hamas in Doha, Qatar.
Details were sketchy at press time, but sources said that the recall followed the yawn in the positions of Israel and Hamas on the terms of the envisaged ceasefire.
