Bendel Insurance ‘Offload’ 25 Players Ahead Of 2025/26 NPL Opener
Bendel Insurance Football Team has announced the departure of 25 players ahead of the 2025/26 Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, season.
Some top players who have left the Benin Arsenal are captain Meyiwa Oritseweyinmi, Austin Ogunye, and Bernard Ovoke.
Other key players who also left the club are Uche Collins, Michael Enaruna, Moses Abioye, and Uche Collins.
The Benin City club is expected to make new signings to replace the departed players before the commencement of the new campaign.
The Benin Arsenal finished in a respectable fifth position last season with 56 points from 38 games.
They will tackle trade with El-Kanemi Warriors in their opening fixture of the new season.
