2027: Tompolo’s Door-2-Door Hails Professor Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda as “Square Peg in a Square Hole”

The National Coordinator of the Door-2-Door political movement, Comrade Sunday Adekanbi, has described the newly elected National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, as a “square peg in a square hole.”
In a congratulatory statement released on Sunday on behalf of the movement’s Founder and Grand Patron, High Chief (Dr.) Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo—popularly known as Tompolo—and Chairman of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Ltd (TSSNL), Adekanbi praised the appointment as timely and visionary.
> “On behalf of Door-2-Door and particularly our esteemed Founder and Patron, High Chief (Dr.) Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, the Ibe-Ebidouwei of Ijaw Nation and Chairman, Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited (TSSNL), we extend our heartfelt congratulations to Professor Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda on his well-deserved election as the new National Chairman of the APC,” the statement read.
The movement also lauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the APC National Executive Committee (NEC) for what it called a “prudent and far-sighted” decision in electing Professor Yilwatda.
> “We express profound gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the APC NEC for their wisdom in electing a leader of Professor Yilwatda’s calibre. This decision bodes well for the party’s future,” Adekanbi added.
Describing the new chairman as a man of impeccable credentials, Adekanbi continued:
> “Professor Yilwatda is, in every sense, a square peg in a square hole—a perfect fit for the demanding role of APC National Chairman. His proven dedication to public service, political insight, and commitment to democratic ideals make him eminently qualified to steer the party to greater heights.”
He noted that Professor Yilwatda’s extensive experience in governance, policy formulation, and political strategy positions him to address the challenges facing the APC while also consolidating its national influence.
> “We have implicit confidence that under his stewardship, the APC will be strengthened institutionally and ideologically. His leadership will galvanize Nigerians and amplify grassroots support for the party.”
Reaffirming the group’s loyalty and electoral mission ahead of 2027, Adekanbi reiterated:
> “As Nigeria heads towards the next general election, Door-2-Door, under the guidance of our Grand Patron, High Chief Tompolo, pledges its unwavering support to Professor Yilwatda and the APC. Our commitment to mobilizing and securing 10 million votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 elections is compromisable.”
