Delta North APC Endorses Tinubu, Oborevwori for Second Term Ahead of 2027
The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta North Senatorial District has officially endorsed President Bola Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for re-election in the 2027 general elections.
The endorsement came during a high-level APC meeting held at Boji-Boji Owa, Ika North-East LGA, presided over by the state’s Deputy Governor, Sir Monday Onyeme, FCA. The motion for endorsement was moved by Hon. Victor Nwokolo, member representing Ika Federal Constituency, and seconded by Hon. Emeka Nwobi, Majority Leader of the Delta State House of Assembly. It was unanimously adopted by attendees.
Speaking at the event, Sir Onyeme hailed the massive turnout and unity among party members, describing it as a sign of readiness to grow the APC’s influence in Delta North. He called for total loyalty to party leadership and emphasized the importance of grassroots mobilization.
Delta APC Chairman, Engr. Omeni Sobotie, lauded the gathering as a congregation of “election winners” and urged members to sustain unity for victory in 2027.
Prominent figures at the meeting included Rt. Hon. Victor Ochei, Hon. Pascal Adigwe, Hon. Doris Uboh, Chief Nkem Okwuofu, Elder Moses Iduh, and Sir Chamberlain Dunkwu, all of whom pledged full support for the endorsed candidates.
In a surprising twist, the former Delta State Governor, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, CON, also urged party members to prioritize delivering Tinubu and Oborevwori in the next election cycle.
