Algeria, Tunisia Draw Barren

Neighbours, Algeria and Tunisia, drew barren in their tonight’s game at the Women African Cup of Nations (WAFCON) Championship in Morocco.
The tie was the second game for both teams at the championship.
Algeria, which won its first game at the championship , clearly dominated the tie but a resilient Tunisian defence ensured that they could not make hay.
By the outcome of tonight’s game, Algeria now has four points to top Group B, ahead of the game between Nigeria and Botswana tonight.
Tunisia, by the result of tonight’s game, earned its first point at the tournament.
Nigeria , which won its first game against Tunisia by three unreplied goals, thus earning three points.
Nigeria is the single highest winner of the WAFCON, having won it nine times.
Other winners are South Africa, the defending champions, and Equatorial Guinea, which has won it twice.
