ONU IKA LEADER, CHIEF EDWIN OSUHOR PASSES ON
The new Head, Collective Leadership of Onu Ika Nigeria, Chief(Barr) Edwin O. Osuhor has passed on. The Umunede born legal icon was reported dead in the early hours of Thursday, June 12, 2025.
According to a statement from Umunede Facebook Forum, ”
UMUNEDE MOURNS A LEGENDARY SON
“With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Chief Edwin O. Osuhor, the Edosomwan of Umunede.
“Chief Osuhor holds the historic distinction of being the first lawyer from Umunede to be called to the Bar.
“He was a trailblazer in the legal field, a former Registrar of the Corporate Affairs Commission, and a respected President General of the Umunede Progressive Union (UPU).
“A true son of the soil, Chief Osuhor was not only an astute lawyer and a visionary community leader, but also a prominent social advocate whose legacy will remain etched in the hearts of Umunedians and beyond.
“We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and the entire Umunede community.
May his noble soul rest in perfect peace.”
