Tragic: Police Say No Survivor In Indian Airline Crash

Police authorities and emergency groups are dousing any hopes of finding survivors in today’ s plane crash in India.
The incident involved a 787-8 jet liner popularly called the Dream liner.
The Big jet crashed just minutes after take off from Ahmedabad Airport.
It crashed into a hostel for medical doctors and student doctors, and fears were that there would be no survivors, given the magnitude of impact.
The jet had 242 passengers and crew onboard and was headed for Gatwick Airport in London on its nine- hour flight which, by schedule, ought to have ended by its arrival by 18.25 local time.
Officials say the plane had 12 crew members and passengers, nationals of India, Greece, Britain and Portugal.
It was learnt that there were 169 Indian nationals aboard and 53 British citizens.
At press time,unofficial local reports indicate that more than 200 bodies had been recovered from the scene,though the tally was expected significantly increase, given the densely populated areas it crashed into.
Aside from those in the I’ll- fated aircraft, the main building into which it crashed, is a hostel for doctors and student doctors, many of whom were inside taking lunch at the time of the mishap.
