Delta Councillor Dies Playing Football
A Councillor in Ughelli North North Local Government of Delta State has died while playing football.
Obukoadata Aghoghofia was the Councillor representing Evwreni Ward 8 in the legislative arm of the local government.
Details of the incident were sketchy at press time, but it was understood that the Councillor had held informal meetings with some of his colleagues and bantered with them before he went to play football in his ancestral community where he collapsed and died, while playing football with his others.
His death is the second in the local government in the recent past.
In April, Friday Agent Ohwoevworemu died after a brief illness.
He was the Councillor representing Uwheru ward 16 in the local government legislative arm.
