Fatalities As Russia Suffers Two Mysterious Train Crashes After Bridge Collapses

Russia suffered two mysterious train crashes in the past 24 hours in which many died and many more were injured.
The crashes involved separate incidents in Bryansk and Kursk Regions, Western Russia.
Both crashes were triggered by bridge collapses which were preceded by huge explosions.
In the Bryansk incident, at least seven persons died and 70 others wounded after a passenger train went under, following a bridge collapse, triggered by an unexplained explosion.
The train was carrying 388 passengers bound for Moscow, the capital of Russia.
Those wounded have been ferried to the capital city for medical attention.
In the second incident, a cargo train crashed after the bridge it was crossing, caved in and collapsed , following an unexplainable explosion.
Details of the second incident remained hazy but experts say the two incidents could not have been a mere coincidence, given their similarities.
Not unexpectedly, Russian officials label them acts of terrorism and blamed Ukrainian government agents for them.
Typically, Ukraine does not comment on such accusations, though suspicions of its involvement are heightened by the derailment of a Russian military train in a part of Ukraine occupied by Russia .
The President of Russia, Vladimir Viktor Putin has been briefed in the development which a member of the Duma, the Russian Parliament, has called acts of terrorism.
The development comes as Russia continued its pounding of Ukraine with drones and missiles, and continued its slow but steady gain in the front lines across Ukraine.
Officials of both countries are scheduled to meet tomorrow in Istanbul, Turkiye, for a second round of talks aimed at harmonizing positions on how to end their three year old military conflict which began in 2022 when Russia invaded its smaller neighbour, citing its hostile political and military inclination.
