2027: No vacancy in Aso Rock as North West endorses President Tinubu for second term………. Deputy Senate President
Today, at the end of our meeting in Kaduna, the North West stakeholders of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), the largest political party in Africa, passed a vote of confidence on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR and endorsed him for a second term.
The National Chairman of the APC, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt Hon Tajudeen Abbas, the host governor, Senator Uba Sani of Kaduna State, his Kebbi and Jigawa state counterparts, senators, members of the House of Representatives, and former governors, among others, were in attendance.
Indeed, it was a gathering of who’s who in our zone, which comprises the states of Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Jigawa, Sokoto, and Zamfara. The meeting was also graced by members of the federal executive council, heads of agencies, speakers of state houses of Assembly, National Working Committee (NWC) of the APC (from North West), and state chairmen from the seven states.
After enumerating President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s various programs and projects in our zone, the North West, and beyond, I asked the gathering, “Is there a vacancy in Aso Rock in 2027?” The answer was “no vacancy” by all.
Inshallah, we will have a landslide victory in 2027.
Therefore, I urge all to present; let us continue on the way we are going. Let us continue to cooperate with one another, work with the president, work with everybody, and cooperate amongst ourselves to achieve the desired victory.
At the end of the meeting, we unanimously passed a vote of confidence on the President and endorsed him for a second term. A communique was issued to this effect.
