President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is set to shock Nigerians with his resolve to sack all his 48 ministers and Special Advisers very soon.
The President is said to have expressed dissatisfaction with the performances of his ministers and aides and has, therefore, resolved to show them the exit door.
Inside sources told THE RADARR that Tinubu had secretly empanelled an independent body to access the ministers’ performance as part of measures to review the state of affairs of his two-year administration.
The compact panel of Senior citizens, on completion of the assessment, returned a negative verdict that only six ministers out of 48 met the expected threshold.
Tinubu was told in clear and unambiguous terms that the present crop of ministers would lead him to doom and possibly political oblivion in 2027.
“He was told that the continued decline of goodwill of Nigerians and the unabating economic and security challenges were more than enough anger in the land”, our source stated.
An uncomfortable Tinubu, therefore, resolved to shop for new hands to work with him to guarantee a return ticket in 2027.
The expected new cabinet is part of his second anniversary, billed for May 29, 2025.
Tinubu is expected to put the new cabinet members into cells in the six geopolitical zones to start coordination towards the 2027 presidential election.
Our source hinted that Tinubu, on return from Paris and London, would direct all ministers to prepare their handover notes forthwith.
Ends.
