The President of America, Donald Trump, says he has made up his mind on a military action in Venezuela
Trump, fielding reporters’ questions on Saturday, said he had ” sort of made up my mind’ on the Venezuela issue.
He would not give details but had consistently nursed the ambition of a regime change,the euphemism for a coup, against the administration of President Nicolas Moduro, who, himself has not backed down on his anti- Trump rhetorics.
The weekend confirmation of a potential military action comes as America began a five-day military drill off the coast of Venezuela to which it has deployed core military assets,including the single largest military ship in the world, the Aircraft Carrier, Gerard Ford.
America had labelled Maduro a hard drug baron and placed a bounty on him,but had failed to publicly present credible evidence of its charge of his involvement in illicit hard drug trade.
Trump has ordered 29 military strikes on Vessels he said were carrying hard drugs to America.
More than 70 persons have been killed in the strikes in the Caribbean axis.

DRC, M 23 Sign Deal
The Democratic Republic of the Congo, DRC, and the M 23 rebel group have signed a deal in Doha, Qatar.
The deal, signed to much public acclaim, is to consolidate their fragile ceasefire signed much earlier.
The deal between the government and the rebel group, is to define and structure the pathway to a sustainable peace between the government of DRC and the M23, otherwise called the Congo River Alliance , and followed an earlier peace pact between DRC and Rwanda, which has been fingered as sponsor of the rebel group.
The DRC/ Rwanda deal was facilitated by the American government.
Rwanda,in spite of what its accusers call credible intelligence in support of their allegations, has constantly denied responsibility for funding the rebel group.
The rebel group has been fighting the Congolese government since 2021, allegedly with the backing of Kigali.
Sudan
Sudanese Army Claims Military Gains Against RSF.
The Sudanese Army says it has taken two settlements from the Rapid Support Forces RSF.
The claim, if proven true, would be the first sign of military success for the Army which , last month, lost the strategic city of Al-+ Fasher, to the rebel RSF after a 17- month long siege.
The Army said the successes were recorded over the past few days in the Kordofan Region where both sides are entrenching to gain territory in order to earn advantage during impending negotiations.
Following the fall of Al- Fasher, the President of America, Donald Trump, called for an end to military activities and for negotiations for the resolution of the causes of the conflict.
The Trump call for a ceasefire has been well received by the rebel group, but the Army has yet to endorse it.

Funerals Held For Melissa Victims
The Caribbean Island nation of Haiti has held funerals for 18 victims of Melissa, the worst tropical storm to hit it in years.
The funerals held in the capital city, Port Au Prince, and the 18 buried victims were part of the 43 persons who died in the flooding and landslides triggered by the storm which led to billions of dollars worth of damage in the country and Jamaica, where the Prime Minister, Andrew Hulness, declared a state of disaster after the rampaging storm.made landfall there.

Gaza Flooded After Days Of Heavy Rains
The embattled enclave of Gaza has been flooded after three days of heavy rains.
Temporary shelters , made from nylon and and plastics, were overwhmed and mats and clothes of internally displaced persons have been drenched by the effects of the rains.
The development has worsened the environmental situation of the camps as the displaced persons await the upcoming winter with trepidation.
The Norwegian Refugee Council, the United Nations UN,via its specialized agency , UNRWA, as well as many other interest groups have warned of the dire consequences of Israel restraining the entry of suitable tents and other humanitarian supplies into the strip
The United Nations Relief and Works Agency, UNRWA, had estimated that up to 1.4 million Palestinians could soon be exposed to the harsh elements, especially extreme cold, during the winter, and urged the Jewish state to enhance the inflow of vital humanitarian supplies into Gaza.
Israel, under the terms of the subsisting fragile ceasefire between it and Hamas, is obliged to allow for the adequate daily inflow of humanitarian supplies as food, water, medicines, toys and fuel,into Gaza.
However, thete is mounting charges by credible groups and interests that Israel is allowing in far less than it had committed to, in the name of deal.

Trump Says May Call British PM, Starmer,b Over BBC blunder, Damages Suit
The President of America, Donald Trump, says he might call the British Prime Minister, Sir Keir Starmer, on the British Broadcasting Corporation( BBC, editing blunder.
Speaking to the media at the weekend, he said had could call Starmer to discuss the matter before he would sue the corporation for between$1billion and ,$5 billion.
Trump also said that he would also find out if the BBC, the single largest public broadcaster in the world, was in the habit of disparaging and maligning people, especially those politically exposed ones.
