Professor Azinge, a renowned legal luminary, served the nation with distinction in various capacities before ascending the revered throne of his forebears. His pathway to kingship is marked by hard work, excellence, and an unwavering commitment to service.
He notably served as the fifth Director-General of the Nigerian Institute of Advanced Legal Studies (2009–2014) and represented Nigeria and Africa as a Judge at the Commonwealth Arbitral Tribunal in London.
President Tinubu extols the Asagba as a true Renaissance monarch, whose reign reflects deep knowledge, wisdom, grace, discipline, and cultural refinement. He further commends His Royal Majesty for his contributions to the nation both in public service and private legal practice as a senior advocate.
As the Asagba of Asaba celebrates his platinum jubilee, the President prays that God Almighty grants him many more years of sound health and wisdom to continue offering exemplary leadership to his people.
