Those affected also include two General Managers (GMs)of two extra- ministerial departments of the state government, and no fewer than two Medical Directors of its hospitals.
The principals, MDs and GMs are part of the more than 200 senior officers ( from Grade Level 12 above) who were affected by the retirement exercise which sprang from the ongoing screening of the state government employees by the Civil Service Commission.
Those affected were alleged to be either overage or have presented questionable documents at the frisking exercise.
According to a statement issued on Friday by the Office of the Head of the State Civil Service which broke news of the retirement spree, the tranche of retirements for those affected as of October end.
The statement showed that 15 officers at the echelon of the state civil and public services ( Grade Level 17) were impacted by the compulsory retirement exercise.

The far- fetched screening exercise was commissioned by the state government in an effort to enhance the tempo of propriety among its workforce.
