At least 10 people have been hospitalised following a mass stabbing on a train in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, on Saturday night.
According to police, nine of the victims are in life-threatening condition.
Two suspects have been arrested in connection with the attack, while investigations are ongoing.
The incident occurred on a Doncaster-to-London train, which never reached its destination. Authorities have described the event as a “serious and distressing incident.”
Witnesses said the attacker, believed to be in his 20s, began stabbing passengers before police arrived about 15 minutes later.
Emergency services were quickly deployed to the scene, and victims were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment.
Police have not yet released the identity of the attacker.
