The historic Sultan Bello Mosque in Kaduna has received a major facelift, courtesy of Tantita Security Services Limited, owned by Chief Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo.
The renovation project featured the construction of a state-of-the-art ablution centre, modern restrooms, and the installation of a 300,000-liter water tank to serve both worshippers and surrounding communities.
Built 63 years ago and named after Sultan Muhammadu Bello — son of Sheikh Usman Dan Fodio and the second Sultan of Sokoto — the mosque has long stood as a symbol of faith, unity, and tradition in Northern Nigeria. With the upgrades, its legacy now blends modern convenience with enduring spirituality.
The comprehensive works restored the mosque’s dignity and reaffirmed its status as a central place of worship. The project was formally commissioned by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who described it as a model example of private sector partnership in community development.
According to the Chief Ladan of the mosque, AbdulRaham Abdulhameed, the upgraded facilities will enhance comfort for worshippers while reinforcing the mosque’s role as a landmark of history and faith.
With this gesture, Tantita Security Services Limited has demonstrated a commitment that goes beyond its security operations — extending to heritage preservation and meeting everyday community needs.
