In strong terms, Iran, today, rejected the American and Israeli conditions for the resumption of talks with America on its nuclear programme.
The position of Iran meant that today’ s talks in Geneva between Iran and foreign envoys from Germany,France and Britain, ended without any breakthroughs.
The Foreign Minister of Iran, Abbas Araghchi, who broke news of the position during a media briefing after the Geneva talks, said it was regrettable that neither the countries at the talks, the European Union EU nor even the International Atomic Energy Agency, IAEA,condemned the Israeli military campaign against his country.
According to him, the attack by Israel, which is not a member of the IAEA, breached the IAEA guidelines and international law.
The Minister said that Iran had not permanently rejected talks but would not access to do so while under attack by Israel.
He spoke poignantly rejecting the hushed calls by the foreign capitals that it stops its ballistic missiles programme.
