Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has approved the construction of a 1.5-kilometre internal road network within the College of Education, Mosogar, in a move aimed at improving infrastructure in tertiary institutions across the state.
The Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Sir Festus Ahon, in a statement, said Governor Oborevwori gave the approval during a meeting with Commissioners in the Exco chamber on Monday.
He said internal roads would include proper drainage, walkways, and asphalt surfacing to ensure durability and resilience during the rainy season.
The road project, which is expected to significantly enhance mobility and the overall ambience of academic environment on campus, forms part of the governor’s broader commitment to infrastructure development under the Renewed Hope for MORE Agenda.
Governor Oborevwori has continued to prioritize key sectors such as education, infrastructure, and youth development since assuming office, with a plethora of ongoing and completed projects spread across the state.
