BENUE KILLINGS : PCC CONDEMNS ATTACK, COMMISERATES WITH VICTIMS, URGES GOVERNMENT ACTION FOR LASTING PEACE
The Benue State Office of the Public Complaints Commission(PCC) strongly condemns the recent brutal attack on Yelewata Community in Guma Local Government Area of Benue State, which resulted in the tragic loss of lives and widespread destruction of property.
Describing the attack as barbaric, archaic, reprehensible, and deeply troubling, the Commission decries this unacceptable assault on the lives and livelihoods of the peace-loving people of Benue State.
Benue state PCC Commissioner James Ogaba Oche lamented in a statement today that Such acts, are a grave affront to the sanctity of human life and the security of our communities.
The Commission expresses its heartfelt condolences to the Government and people of Benue State, particularly the families and individuals who have lost loved ones, homes, and means of livelihood in this horrific incident.
