Father of Newborn Quadruplets Cries Out for Financial Help at UBTH
BENIN CITY — A motor mechanic, Eguaseki Augustine Osazuwa, has made a passionate appeal to the public for financial assistance following the birth of his quadruplets at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH) on June 2, 2025.
The arrival of the four babies, while a source of immense joy, has placed a significant financial strain on Osazuwa, whose income as a mechanic is not sufficient to meet the demands of caring for the newborns.
“I am grateful to God for this miracle, but the financial demands are really telling on me. As a motor mechanic, my income is not enough to handle this situation. I am calling on the government, well-meaning Nigerians, and corporate organisations to assist me because I don’t have money now and I am financially exhausted. The hospital has really been very helpful,” he said.
Osazuwa’s wife remains under medical care at Ward M2 of UBTH, where she and the quadruplets are being closely monitored by medical personnel.
Members of the public who wish to support the family can reach Osazuwa directly on 08024309242. Financial assistance can also be sent through his personal bank account:
