Aviation Minister, Festus Keyamo, has given directive for a thorough probing of the fracas that occurred between Edo State Senator, Adams Oshiomhole and Nigeria’s leading Airline, Air Peace in Lagos airport on Wednesday.
In a statement on Friday, Mr Keyamo stated that he has been in touch with both parties since Wednesday.
In a post on his X handle, he said, “I also directed the aviation agencies to exercise restraint in jumping to conclusions, in line with the time-honoured legal principle of ‘hear all sides’ before reaching judgment”.
He urged the parties to refrain from public altercations; directing the relevant aviation agencies to delve into the matter and report back to his office with evidences relating to the matter.
