One of the foremost groups in the South South, Coalition Of Niger Deltans For Equity and Justice (CNDEJ) has advised the northern coalition led by former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and Ex Kaduna State governor, Malam El’Rufai’s led Coalition against truncating the Re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027 election.
The group warned that there would be no peace should the northern coalition achieved its aim of denying the sitting president and in turn the southern part of the country of serving it’s eight years tenure as enshrined in the constitution.
CNDEJ, in a statement signed by its Spokesman, Prince Meshach Bebenimibo and issued in Warri yesterday, noted that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will surely complete his first tenure and win the reelection, thereby completing his eight years in office.
The group said now was the time for the northerners to support and allow the president complete his eight years in appreciation of the support they got from the southern part of the country in the past.
It recalled that when former President Muhammad Buhari was president of Nigeria, nobody went against him from the southern part, until he successfully completed his two terms of eight years in office adding The South-West, South- South and South-East did not go against him. He ruled uninterrupted.
“Now, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu just completed two years of his first term, the North is doing everything to truncate his second term. Why are you so wicked and heartless.
“The North is looking for all means to forment trouble and make sure our workaholic, dogged and pragmatic president Bola Ahmed Tinubu did not get reelection. The Southern Nigeria has always pave way for the Northern part of this country to govern Nigeria by giving them utmost support.
“Without the support of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, former President Muhammad Buhari would not have won the 2015 election. Tinubu sponsored the Northern candidate to emerge the president which benefitted Elrufai and other co-northerners”, it added.
CNDEJ maintained that no opposition or coalition candidates can do what President Tinubu has done in reforming the economy and gradually restructuring the country.
“Those behind the northern coalition are after their stomach infrastructure. They want to gain relevance after enjoying countless opportunities in the previous government. Now they are fighting a genuine leader who God has sent to reposition Nigeria to an enviable height.
“The coalition of the North is not after the betterment of Nigerians but aim to satisfy their hunger for power, revenge and to make sure other regions of the country is a slave to them” the group maintained.
CNDEJ also warned those against the relationship between the Gbaramatu kingdom, her leaders in driving the economy of the country to stop against the Ijaw ethnic nationality.
It also warned disgruntled elements, particularly those were beneficiaries of illegal oil bunkering, to stop campaign of calumny against ex-militant leader, Chief Government Ekpomupolo alias Tompolo; Gbaramatu kingdom; Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited and the Administrator of Presidential Amnesty Program, Dr. Kingsley Otuaro.
The group acknowledged that the Administrator of Presidential Amnesty Program was doing everything possible to make sure the success of the program noting that he has reposition the PAP to help the beneficiaries.
“We urge all ex-agitators to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and focus on his reelection. Don’t allow anyone to use you to work against the president. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu have good plans for you.
“There is time for everything and now Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited has come to help President Bola Ahmed Tinubu by ensuring that our oil pipelines are secured and let our economy boom and boost so that the he will keep doing his good work of providing the best for Nigerians and take Nigeria to the promised land”, it added.
CNDEJ urged the independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to urgently conclude the recent Ward Delineation exercise in Warri federal constituency.
“We also urge INEC not to be intimidated by any group and disgruntled element to change the delineation exercise that has been successfully carried out by the commission.
We have faith in INEC and know that INEC will not stoop low and change the delineation exercise result in Warri South, Warri South-West and Warri North”, it concluded.
