Iran Begins Retaliatory Attacks on Israel
Iran has just kick-started its retaliatory military attacks on Israel.
Initial indications are that Teheran has fired ” hundreds of ballistic missiles” at parts of Israel, including Tel Aviv, its capital.
Details remained sketchy but at least some of the missiles had hit target in the capital city.
The wave of Iranian attacks followed the earlier attacks by Israel which targeted not only the nuclear programme of Iran and its military brass but also nuclear scientists and civilian infrastructure in different parts of the country.
The Iranian strike , which came in two waves, began as American President began a high brow security meeting in Washington.
Insider sources said the United Nations Security Council, UNSC, was due to meet soon in the evolving development.
