Plateau Gov, Mutfwang, Stirs Speculation After Visit To Tinubu in Lagos
The Governor of Plateau State,Caleb Mutfwang has visited President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at his Lagos residence.
The visit has stirred speculations about the motive of the governor.
Mutfwang was elected into office on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, while Tinubu was elected President on the ticket of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Details of what went on during the private visit remained subjects of speculations at press time, but the development comes days after another governor elected on the PDP made the same move.
Osun State Governor, Adeleke, together with his family members, visited President Tinubu in the same Lagos private residence.
Today’s visit by the Plateau State Governor comes strong on the heels of the defection of his Akwa Ibom counterpart, Umo Eno, to the APC from the PDP.
Before him, the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, had defected to the APC, after parting ways with the PDP.
