Nine year old shoots sister With Dad’s Gun
An unidentified nine- year old American boy has accidentally shot dead his five- old year sister.
The incident happened on Tuesday night in Phoenix and local police are of the view that the accidental shooting, just as many other similar ones , needed not have happened.
The gun belongs to their father, Irvin Arnold Jimenez.
The actual circumstances of the shooting, just as the identities of the boy and the victim sister remained under wraps at press time.
But the development comes at a time of heightened public concern about growing kid deaths by gunfire.
Figures put out by health officials say that 66 such deaths had been recorded across the country this year, and 400 in 2023.
In all such circumstances, children either turned their parents’ guns on either themselves or their siblings.
