Asaba Specialist Hospital Achieves Major Milestone with First Dialysis Session
Asaba Specialist Hospital in Delta state has successfully conducted its first dialysis session, marking a significant milestone in its development as a tertiary healthcare facility.
The hospital’s Chief Medical Director, Dr. Peace Ighosewe, attributed the achievement to the support of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s MORE Agenda, which provided state-of-the-art dialysis machines. The hospital can now offer advanced dialysis treatments, including SLED and Hemodiafiltration, to both regular and ICU patients.
Dr. Ighosewe expressed gratitude to the governor, the Commissioner for Health, Dr. Joseph Onojaeme, and the hospital’s team for their contributions to this achievement.
