DTSG Delivers Dialysis Machines, CT scan To Own hospitals

As part of its efforts at enhancing efficiency in its health sector, the Delta State Government( DTSG), has provided eight units of dialysis machines and two units of CT scan.
The Governor of the state, Ty. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori disclosed this today in his state of the state address at the Delta State House of Assembly DTHA, Asaba.
He said that three units each of the dialysis machine had begun alloted to Asaba Specialist, Hospital Asaba, and the Central Hospital, Warri.
The two others were handed out to the Delta State University Teaching Hospital, Oghara.
He added that the CT scan had been allocated to the Central Hospital, Warri, and DELSUTH, Oghara.
Oborevwori also said that dozens of ultra sound machines had been delivered and deployed to boost the health sector.
He reiterated the commitment of his administration to the promotion of the state’ s health sector
According to him, the government had also established and operationalized college of Health Technology, Ovrode,in order to boost the manpower required for the enhanced service delivery in the sector
