Chelsea Win UEFA Conference League Trophy
Chelsea beat Real Betis of Spain tonight to win the UEFA Conference League Trophy.
They walloped the Spaniards by four goals to one.
The victory means that Chelsea are the only English team to win all four major competitive inter- club soccer trophies available in Europe .
Betis went ahead in the first half , which they dominated, and held fast till the break.
On resumption, a resurgent Chelsea took control, and with two goals within 10 minutes, the English team soared to add two more, including one in added time, to lift the trophy.
Chelsea, placed fourth on the English Premier League points table, had qualified for a UEFA Champions League for the next season.
Betis are 17th on the Spanish La Liga for the current season.
