Cardinals Elect New Pope

A few minutes ago , a billow of white smoke from the chimney of Sistine Chapel in the Vatican signalled the election of a new Pope.
The details of the identity of the chosen Cardinal and his official name are to be made public in a few minutes.
The Pope will succeed Pope Francis who died on Easter Monday at the age of 88 years.
A total of 133 Cardinals drawn from 70 countries and five continents voted in the Conclave.
There are 1.4 billion Catholics in the world.
